Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) will host the 4th Conference on Biolinguistics and Language Acquisition (2025 BL&LA) on June 22, 2025, in a hybrid format (online and offline). The conference will feature keynote speakers including Prof. Michael Kenstowicz (MIT). We welcome abstract submission on the following themes.
- Ontological studies of human languages: syntax, semantics, phonology, phonetics, prosody, morphology, etc., and their interfaces. And bio-neural analyses of language computations in such subfields via ERP, fMRI, and DTI, etc.
- L1, L2, or L3 acquisition studies (including Chinese L1 and L2 acquisition/ processing research); bilingual and multilingual acquisition studies; heritage language acquisition research.
- Bio-neural studies of language acquisition via ERP, fMRI, DTI, etc.
- Bio-neural studies of human language use via ERP, fMRI, DTI, etc.
- Studies of language evolution and philosophical issues related to language.
- Studies of language pathology and rehabilitation.
- Abstract format: 100-300 words; personal information (name, affiliation, email address) on a separate page.
