Reed College will be hosting the 9th meeting of Formal Approaches to South Asian Languages (FASAL-9) on 16-17 March 2019. This is the first time FASAL is coming to the Pacific Northwest. Submissions for paper and poster presentations on the languages of South Asia from within any subfield of theoretical linguistics are welcome.

Abstract submissions
Abstracts are invited for talks and posters on any aspect(s) of the phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, phonetics, or processing of South Asian languages.
Abstracts, including references and data, are limited to two single-spaced pages (A4 or US Letter) with 1-inch (2.5cm) margins and a minimum font size of 11pt. One person can submit at most one abstract as sole author and another as co-author.
