The Department of Linguistics of Cornell University is pleased to announce the Ninth Workshop on Altaic Formal Linguistics (WAFL9), to be held on August 23-25, 2013. The term ‘Altaic’ is understood to include Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungusic languages, as well as Korean and Japanese, and abstract submissions on the linguistics of any members of this group are welcome. The proceedings will be published by MITWPL.
